I have not thought about DA magazine in many, many years. I used to get pretty excited when it would arrive in the mail, though, because flipping through that would just be my whole afternoon following its arrival.

To answer the first question: probably Pedro Pascal. The guy's love and acceptance of his sister is I think probably what we'd all want from our own families.

Yeah, I'm not a fan, personally. But, like others have said, I can appreciate some of the aspects of it from a standpoint of entertainment and athleticism, but it's not an art form I seek out to consume, and I'm not about to crap on someone who does it, either.

Again, not the speeding by itself that concerns me (though 46 mph over the posted limit does show a possible disregard for the safety of others) but the doing 500 hours of community service for his own PAC that raises some questions for me and comes across as self-serving.

I did want to thank you and @joadsprocket.bsky.social for giving me other viewpoints and perspectives to consider in terms of this latest election. I'm willing to introspectively look at whether my own views might have come from a place of privilege and short-sightedness.

I'd be salty if I was forced to row around the Mediterranean all day, too. Besides, the crew was likely all-male, so it was probably a total sausage-fest.

Look, I'm willing to be civil and discuss this with you as best I can within 300 characters at a time, but if you're going to deliver veiled insinuations I've got ulterior/racist motives for not backing Jones, we're done. It's about personal accountability, decisions, and integrity.
