Okay #ALA2025, it begins! For those who will be fighting time zone lag, I highly recommend Nook Coffee and Bakery on 20th street between Market and Chestnut. Best coffee in town in my opinion and some of the best baked goods too.

You might not be aware, but publishers don't allow libraries to buy permanent copies of ebooks/audiobooks. They are rented to them at a much higher rate than an individual can buy them. And they're limited to a low number of rentals before being charged again.

Darwinβs letters and books recognised as a UNESCO documentary heritage | Natural History Museum
The documents will join other important archives such as the illuminated manuscripts of Charlemagneβs court.
Charles Darwin is best known for his work on evolution.
But he was a prolific scientist who studied much more. Now, over 20,000 of Darwin's letters, books and publications have been recognised as a UNESCO heritage.

Being a Reader's Digest collection, the sourcing just says "U.S. National Park Service". I have found similar photos but not the same ones related to excavations in the Carnegie Quarry of the Morrison Formation. In fact, I suspect the fossil is one on display at the Dinosaur National Monument.

Image of a dusty man in a hat chiseling around a large dinosaur backbone. The caption reads: "STARK RELIEF: A dinosaur skeleton emerges as a paleontologist, working with great care, chiels sandstone away from a fossil at a site in Utah. The creature, a Camarasaurus, was 25 feet long.
Hey library friends, I'm doing a for fun reference task. We're looking for the original source of the image below. It was used in a reader's digest collection from 1975 but some sleuthing suggests that it is originally from the 1950s and published by the National Park Service.
