It was good bizarre video.

This summer, a meteor was visible from a highway (by dashcam and drivers) in Georgia. It went into someone’s house.

The bots are testing people’s responses more - there will be a bot trolling a specific person. The trolling doesn’t make sense but it’s mean spirited. Engagement farming and so many AI posts that are feel-good stories with slop visuals attached.

I gave my heart and soul to that place. Built entire sections for journalists pushed out of their home countries.

When the writer I hired, Jamal Khashoggi was murdered by Saudi Arabia, they paraded me around as a symbol for press freedom.

A large elm stretches through shrubs and across a creek. It’s a very large tree.

A large oak is knocked over, the roots are dangling in the air. Other trees are fine, with green leaves in late summer.

There was a beautiful red oak in a park near me. I took photos of it for “thick trunk Thursday” on twitter. I don’t know if I ever posted them.
One of the many storms knocked it over, I just saw it today.

Thank you. He linked to wildflowers but his post seems unclear to me. I can understand wanting to make property unsalable but humans cause enough damage to the land.

If he had a functioning neuron, this would have been handled by dept of State via email “hey we think your citizens are using the wrong visa in GA - you should get this other one.” A few days of back and forth talking and it would have been fixed.

I have situational earworms- e.g. I’m wading in a creek and “went down to the river to pray” is on repeat.

I’m in rural GA. I think people don’t see the LGBTQ+ population around them because they aren’t looking and I don’t want to out anyone so I’m not correcting their error.
I worry that this erases people who are out, that it minimizes a minority who should have support. But it seems safer.

Covid has so many lingering affects, including chronic pain and less impulse control - that could be part of the drug overdose increases too. (There is yet another neurological study out recently showing Covid affects brains.)
