I do because we need to show the youth players that they can be around it and have something to aspire to. I’d feel shit about my chances if the club were willing to pick and extra goalkeeper over a youth player.

Why two reserve goalkeepers- doesn’t make any sense. Wouldn’t it be better to put a young lad on the bench to get a feel for it.

It’s a really well taken goal. Maybe because of its historical significance that’s overlooked- or I have overlooked the actual anticipation, movement and finish.

Excellent article.

They are too self-aware now. It was funny at first and now it’s just acting. It is a show about Man U etc and they shouldn’t pretend it’s anything other than that.

Great insight. I agree as a one-off special occasion event this would be great. Still hard to believe this is all real- I’m still dazed by it all.
