Buybacks artificially boost share prices and inflate CEO pay.

The typical worker at these companies earned just $34k. 

Meanwhile, the average CEO was paid $14.7M.

Marianne Faithfull: Singer and actress dies at 78 She was known for hits such as 1964's As Tears Go By and films including 1968's The Girl On A Motorcycle.

What a bummer to hear of the passing of Marianne Faithfull. She was a one-of-a-kind. While her relationship with Mick Jagger helped launch her into the spotlight, it's telling that artists like Nick Cave wanted to work with her, citing her as an inspiration. RIP Marianne
