Tantalizing! I've always loved this strain of thrillers, and these are all pretty solid.
When I was in a film noir phase years ago, I learned that the deliciously dark Bad Influence was in fact, er, influenced by a 1950 noir called Try And Get Me, which is also very good. Can't wait for the book!

One of my favorite lesser-talked-about slasher franchises, and #1 is the best. Entertaining, well-crafted, and very gripping, the cast is uniformly strong, and the overall classy sheen lessens any feelings of guilt a non-horror fan might have for having loved a slasher.
