Supreme Court turns away dispute over pregame prayer at high school football games The Supreme Court will not reconsider a 25-year-old decision that found student-led and initiated prayer at football games unconstitutional.

The Supreme Court has declined to revive Cambridge Christian’s bid to force loudspeaker prayer at public school games.

This is a win for students’ rights and for the Constitution. Public school events aren’t church services — and the 1st Amendment still matters.
