Artemy Burakh comes home after years of studying medicine in the capital and going to war, gets attacked almost to death right after he gets off the train. Learns his father, who's the person that called him home in the first place, has died before he even reached the town.

I caught up with Witch Hat Atelier. Magic is a clear metaphor for artistic creation, and it’s wonderful. A new all-time fav manga for me 💕

The story is interesting, the characters are heartwarming, the art is beautiful, and all while imparting words of wisdom to the wise & inexperienced alike
