Here on Blue Sky, we are aware of the problem. But threads like what could be done just like what you posted here are also needed to at least remind us not all is lost…yet.

Ds will probably let Rubio slide and be SoS. It opens a long-shot opportunity for them. I think it’s harder to win than AL-Sen was in 2017 but if they get their act together, the chances of a pickup are non-zero.

Ds and liberals need to learn to wage war or they’ll keep losing. And it is waged in the social media sphere.

Again, liberals either don't recognise everyone else declared war on them or that they can't be bothered to fight on terms they need to fight. It's about animal instincts coming out. If enemies of liberals want war, then liberals MUST give them war.

Then it falls to those who believe in the truth to make it profitable. This is the best path. That is the challenge.

The challenge (and opportunity) that exists for the likes of BlueSky is to make the truth profitable. It is indeed challenging to phantom but it’s the only path we can think of to save the good stuff about liberal democracy.

The challenge is to make truth-promoting profitable for social media. And we are not talking about punishing existing firms for promoting lies with lawsuits. Anyone who figures that out deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.

For me, the question is not if Rs will support but how many Ds. Quite a number of them are serving in districts won by Trump.

Nevermind whether he gets votes from Rs in Congress. Question is whom amongst Congressional Ds are going to give him fairly consistent support on issues that should not be normalised.
