Very easy to take them on and off as the weather changes.

I totally get you! Whenever possible, I try to aim for the bike route that takes us past the legislative assembly, since there's a big, big water feature that my toddler loves. I'll do laps around it for a few minutes before continuing on our way. Wouldn't even see it from a car.

On the morning of Friday, July 11th, a man in his 60s was hit by a dump truck and killed while riding his bike on a painted bike lane. This is the worst nightmare for anyone who tries to get around in this city without a car. 1/4

Late reply here bringing back the idea that we should only call something AAA if we sponsor a field trip of daycare kids to bike it from end to end and have them grade it well on a predetermined rubric. If the city isn't comfortable with the liability of sponsoring the trip, instant fail, not AAA.

That the Winnipeg Public Service be directed to work with community partners, including Bike Winnipeg to support public engagement and prioritization of Wellington Crescent within the City of Winnipeg plans and priorities in the upcoming Transportation Master Plan 2050 and updated Pedestrian and Cycling Strategies. 3. That the Winnipeg Public Service be directed to work with community partners, including Bike Winnipeg to support targeted stakeholder engagement, focusing on potentially impacted fronting property owners. 4. Janice Lukes’s Public Works Committee agenda for next week dropped today. They’re delaying Wellington Cres bike lane pilot by ANOTHER 30 days.

1. Really jealous that y’all have a dashboard. I’d love that in Winnipeg.
