Their traction outperformed friends with studs in more conditions. I was happy with them in everything except the mashed potatoes kind of snow, which studs also suck in.

Very easy to take them on and off as the weather changes.
One of Winnipeg’s city councillors, after 114 people took a day off work to spend 5 minutes each telling a harrowing story about a dangerous street, said he wasn’t voting for bike lanes there because “some of the delegates were too belligerent.” 🤦♂️

Whenever possible, I try to aim for the bike route that takes us past the legislative assembly, since there's a big, big water feature that my toddler loves. I'll do laps around it for a few minutes before continuing on our way. Wouldn't even see it from a car.

On the morning of Friday, July 11th, a man in his 60s was hit by a dump truck and killed while riding his bike on a painted bike lane. This is the worst nightmare for anyone who tries to get around in this city without a car. 1/4

If the city isn't comfortable with the liability of sponsoring the trip, instant fail, not AAA.
