Surviving metastatic breast cancer is a matter of getting a treatment to work long enough that when the cancer overcomes it, a new treatment is available.

My wife has been doing this for 15 years. Each time the cancer started moving, a new medicine was available.

She'll die if research stops. 😞

speaking as the sister who has cancer, i can tell you that knowing you are there for her- even if you are a mess and she is too- means more to her then you can even imagine. 🌸

oh how i hope this site continues to be a place of sharing info and caring. had to wade thru so much ick and hate on the bird/letter site i had given up.

really didn’t anticipate the sorrow moving to bluesky would cause. going thru the list of those i have followed to find them here and realized just how many beautiful souls are now gone. #fcancer
