the education system is fucked, administrators dont give a fuck about anyone but themselves, children get away with literal physical violence because they dont discipline them anymore, parents do this bullshit gentle parenting now which is just them neglecting their children . . . ha ha

The same parents would be dropping their kids off, 10 MINUTES after the last bell rung! The front office had late slips already filled out with the kids names!

Don't get me started on the school zone, during transition! Only when the cop was there, would they slow down, and some didn't even then!!

Our old principal had constant meetings, with the same families. It drove her to retirement. The new guy, barely disciplined. The teachers hated sending kids to the office, because nothing would happen.

The new principle once followed a kid, who walked out of class, around campus for an hour. WTF!

I was an aide in a elem school. At least 30% of the day, was dealing with parents or the results of bad parenting.

I had to teach kids basic things, like how to treat others, because they never heard it before. Kids up to 5th grade, didn't know how to tie their shoes! In an affluent community!

If there's a law, it should be every eligible voter gets to vote. Access to voting is more important. Be it mail-in-voting or a voting holiday. Definitely more polling places and less electronic voting machines.
