That's fair, he's just not at the levels yet, wich is only natural with the summer he had. And of course, at some point he needs to start enough games to get back his rythm. But on the back of our last couple of games, I would start the players with the most legs and intensity atm, just my opinion

Would go for the same back 4, Grav + Szobo in the pivot, Macca in the 10 on Caicedo (also his passing closer to goal) Salah and Gakpo on the flanks with Wirtz as a false 9. Wirtz dropping deep to give Salah and Gack better conditions in the channels. Just my opinion

Weird, I watched all our pre season games... And I definately remember him playing as a false 9. But hey, I don't actually care, I would still go for it.

No, not really. Simply because he was played there quite a bit in pre season, and actually I feel that might have been some of his best performances for us so far. And as well, he's quite weak in duels, but so have Chelsea's CB's been this season, and him against Caicedo instead in the 10 😬

.. better conditions for the likes of Salah and Gakpo in the channels. Gakpo on the left as a potential out ball with his phsycality, and Szobo and Grav as 6/8's to deal with the half spaces/channels at the back, wich has been a real problem for us so far.

I Would put this team out for several reasons. Macca in the 10 because of cancelling out Caicedo who he knows well, getting his brilliant passing closer to goal as well. Wirtz as a false 9 to pull out defenders who is getting easily pulled out of position so far this season, and that might give...
