Here's a wire wrapped pendant I made with a piece of Pink Cloud geode from Haida Gwaii. This is one of my latest wire wraps, It's a great example of all the work I've put in over the years practicing!! Looking forward to making some more jewelry and cutting stones soon!!

Ooh nice one!! I'm sure a gem carver could do something awesome with a nice clean white common opal like that!! Great specimen as is too, nice find!!

Thanks!! It's one of my best finds for sure, quartz crystals are few and far between in my area of BC so when I found this spot I was pretty stoked. So many crazy formations out there and potential for so much more!!

Clear flower quartz like a bouquet of ice
This is the rarest quartz crystal specimen I've ever found. It started life as a Tessin habit quartz crystal, at some point it had broken off in the pocket. The base of the crystal was then healed with flower quartz becoming a beautiful bouquet of quartz crystals!! I've never seen another like it!!

Thanks!! Yea i was pretty stoked on the finds from this spot, the flower quartz was definitely a surprise!!

bicolor Andalusite crystals in quartz
Northern BC Andalusite crystals, these look a lot like bicolor tourmaline but their square cross section and lack of lepidolite mica in the host really gives it away. Still is a good sign for high aluminum content and could potentially be indicators for cordierite, kyanite, and maybe even corundum!!

Canadian Tessin Habit Clear Quartz Crystals
Found some amazing quartz crystals last year!! I'll post some more finds all cleaned up once I get some good pics together, mineral photography is quite the challenge!!๐
Most quartz crystals are Tessin habit in this area but I've collected a fair amount of scepters and some rare flower quartz too!!

clear quartz crystal dark sterling silver wire wrapped pendant
During the cold and rainy seasons when I'm not out prospecting for more gemstones, I like to make jewelry. This pendant I made is a sterling silver, hybrid wire wrap with clear quartz that I collected and cabbed myself from a stone found in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Canada.

All those manganese oxides really cover it up, must be really hard to track down in the wild!! I've gotten lucky and found some in creeks up in northern BC where its nice and pink from being tumbled out of the mountains๐

some nice indicator crystals in that seam, it ought to open up to a pocket in there somewhere!!

ptygmatic folding in migmatite on the top right there from the looks of it, awesome work!! The way you can perfectly illustrate minerals is amazing, love your other work too!!

Awesome!! I haven't found scapolite yet and I'm not sure if I will, seems to be found more often over east. Sodalite is on the bucket list. Calcite is one that I've collected mainly fluorescing red. I also found some awesome green phosphorescent calcite stalactites in a roadcut next to a coal seam!!

My favorite stone!! You captured the coppery brightness of the aventurescence perfectly!! Rainbow lattice sunstone seems like it'd also be quite a challenge to illustrate, I've actually never seen any illustrations of it, neither have I seen heliolite like this one illustrated either, great work!!

Very nice jasp-agate!! Stones like this always have some amazing patterns, orbs, and blooms, just mesmerizing. Definitely some of my favorite material to cut and polish too๐

Here's a giant waterline agate I found while out exploring new areas with a friend in Northern BC, Canada. This has to be the largest agate I've ever come across around here weighing in at 5lbs!!
