I had to share that with my brother, out of concern for his safety. Ironically, my Dad played favorites and my brother (and youngest sis) were always his favorites. Didn't matter once he lost his memory. My brother was just the guy that made him take his pills.

Even worse, they often target the main caregiver. My brother took care of my Dad as he was dying at home, with dementia. Us siblings would take turns, just so my brother could get home and see his family. My Dad said he wanted to "shoot that SOB...". Devastating, and yet, we had to take precautions.
