First few renders of the redone MP412. Haven't played around with the textures much yet. Mostly cleaned up the old metal material so I could work with proper reference in the next weeks, and applied the old engravings back in. I still can't believe I got comparable results with just 1 texture map.

Welp, still not much, I spent a lot of time fixing topology and moving stuff around but in the end I figured it would be faster to just start with a cleaner topo so that's what I did.
Makes it much easier to work with.

The challenge I faced in this one was naming all the parts to match the low and high poly versions. There were so many parts that I didn't know the exact name of, and it was confusing.
