When @meampongan.bsky.social and I got together we raced to play Wombat Poo and we had so much fun! We loved opening the game and seeing all the environmentally friendly packaging and ethical consideration, and we loved playing the game! Everyone should have a copy of this

"Flatten the curve" is maybe the most successful slogan of the last 10 years and conveys a relatively complicated idea! The difference is that the media helped explain and operationalize its underlying message. With "Defund the police" the media did the opposite.

I've seen ABC refer to the Nazi rallies as "anti mass immigration rallies" over and over, exactly what Nazis want labelled as, legitimising them.

In contrast, not once have I heard the Palestine rallies called anti-genocide or anti-colonial. I wonder what that's about 🙄

While playing Moon River from @brunocathala.bsky.social and @yohanservais.bsky.social my friend messaged me this and I totally agree! We're both vegetarian, but we often use meat as a metaphor for the depth and approachability of the decisions in games. This is our way of saying it's perfection! 🌛🏞️

My niche pet peeve of the day is when people try and tell others how to pronounce Melbourne by spelling it Melbin. It's much clearer to spell it Melb'n #ExtremelyImportant

This is a great video and I recommend everyone in Australia watch it, but there is one tiny piece of misinformation in it. From 1:01-1:08 the speaker implies that strategic voting isn't necessary in Australia's electoral system, but this is not true. Strategic voting gets independents elected
