I just finished a rewatch of The Wire a couple weeks ago.

We need to be aware of what can happen as well as what is happening. Be aware of the hateful rhetoric that spreads like wildfire these days. Do not forget. Do not forgive.

I realized recently that this month is the 80th anniversary of the repatriation of many survivors of the holocaust. 80 years sounds like a long time, but to put it in perspective for those of you who are near my age, it’s only as far back from 1985 to 1945 as 2025 to 1985.

I fucking hate that shit. You do not get to schedule me for a fucking thing without my say-so.

Mentally, I’m doing well. Or perhaps better than one would expect with the ongoing troubles of the world, as well as my continued physical health struggles. So, no worries if any of you suddenly don’t hear from me for a few days to weeks.

The amount of idiocy I’ve seen spouted over the past few weeks is staggering. It’s almost inescapable.

I’m considering taking some time off from social media, even though it’s sadly my main outlet for social interaction these days.

I don’t think the point was to make money. Send them all to the industrial shredder and recycle them into something worthwhile.
