One year ago today, at the ripe age of 31, I received my bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Western Michigan University. I graduated summa cum laude. It remains one of the proudest achievements of my life thus far.

RIP Pope Francis, a true leader and a voice for the downtrodden and marginalized. May he be remembered for his humility and grace.
