It was pretty funny when a Tubi ad about becoming a correctional officer aired while I was watching Fortress...
Also, I gave it a 8/10. What can I say, I love bad movies.

"Take your console to the houses of friends who don't have one, and get them hooked on Saturn."
08.02.2026 08:35 โ ๐ 617 ๐ 192 ๐ฌ 22 ๐ 9It's painful to watch those videos showing the complete lack of geography knowledge of Americans.
Why doesn't the "greatest country in the world" teach such a basic subject in its schools?
I love Hellcard (60+ hours played).
In the next installment there's 4-player co-op, which means that if you play alone, like I do, you now need to manage four hands at the same time. It seems a bit too much.

I play Threes compulsively all day.
I'm not very good at it but something interesting happened today!
I got myself a R4 cartridge and I'm now playing Pokemon Platinum on my original grey phat DS.
I'm having fun! I love Pokemon but only actually played the second and third generation of games.
Why do I keep doing this to myself?
I tried watching the first episode of Starfleet Academy and gave up after fifteen minutes. There's nothing left of the Star Trek I grew up with in these new shows.

I need to watch more movies from the 70s!
Recently saw Five Easy Pieces. I loved the bit with the hitchhikers who wanted to go to Alaska.

Columbo S02E08 "Double Shock" is another great episode.
There are a lot of funny moments in this one, like when Columbo goes on a cooking show preparing hollandaise sauce!

Found it on Instagram, "Vintage Pokemon art by Aya Kusube".

This is the third time I see this guy, a beautiful pheasant, in the same spot.
When he notices my presence he runs away SO fast, it looks like a cartoon character.

Winning a race feels impossible though, at least for me. The pit stop section is a nice break from the desperate attempt to surpass the opponents.

My Famiclone Games #1
FERRARI GRAND PRIX CHALLENGE (1992)
A solid racing game. Controls are good, the presentation is really nice. The HUD is full of little details, like the radio messages.

I'm loving Pluribus SO much.
We've only seen eight episodes, I know, but I already see it as one of my favorite tv shows of all time.

To rekindle my love for games, I want to play through all my childhood famiclone games again (not on actual hardware, but via emulation).
Let's see if my skills have improved or are stuck at my 7 year-old self's level.

A photo of a coulter pinecone next to a human hand. The pinecone is larger by far, and dark brown in color.
This giant pinecone belongs to the coulter pine! It can be found in California & Mexico. Nicknamed โthe widowmaker,โ it produces some of the world's largest pineconesโwhich can weigh ~11 lbs (5 kg) & plummet to the ground with deadly force!

I've been working on a new game dev project for a while. Still haven't written a line of code though, because this time I decided to first focus on the game design document. I hope this will help the next steps.

I watched Experimenter (2015), about the Milgram obedience experiments. Not that great, but I learned stuff.
But I also found out that there is a 1976 made-for-tv movie about the same topic with William Shatner as Stanley Milgram!

A crt tv screen photo of Golden Axe for ZX Speccy with a dungeon stonework and general creepiness background and the head and shoulders of a grinning skeleton looming in front of it and asking 'Happy with your controls yes or no'

29.11.2025 14:53 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Decided to try Anachronox again.
I really wanted to like it but it's too old and clunky for my taste. I love running around the place, the atmosphere is great, but the thing that made me quit was the frustrating lock-picking minigame. Maybe next time I'll have more patience.

I've read a few of these historical novels that are free on Kindle if you are a Prime user. Little unknown ebooks by Italian authors, usually set in ancient Rome or Greece.
I LOVE them so much. It's the only type of fiction that I can stand reading right now.
