Elites know that the point of going to an elite college is precisely the network of people it opens up for students. This "AI-native U" model will just be used to reinforce inequities between elite and non-elite institutions, where students at the latter are denied even more access to people.

Those of us who do study the 90s can point to the fact that anti-affirmative action backlash was a studied project of the right that got laundered by venues like the NYT just as anti-trans stuff is today, eg:

I mean it's in Plato: self-mastery/sophorsyne as being a man in relation to oneself, exhibiting the self-mastery necessary to be master over others (and thus not subject to them), he hated poetry & music to the extent they were feminizing, etc etc

what made millennial alt rock different was it was the first rock masculinity premised not on the appropriation of Black cool, but on misogyny and anti-feminist backlash...which is why it really is the direct antecedent to the manosphere.
