In college there was a cafe that did half iced coffee half chocolate milk called an Austin Powers, and I forget that’s not an official name for it when i ask people if they’ve had it.

I’m putting together a bunch of hand written notes to go along with galleys of my book, and I’d forgotten how much the world is not made for lefties writing with pens.

The fact that @sfchronicle.com and @nytimes.com had paywalls when I went to get updates yesterday on the map is so frustrating. I’m all for paying for good journalism, but this is quite literally life and death for some people, not some op-ed.
