This model is cursed.

After a week of late nights painting, I decided to spray varnish, which covered it in white specks. So instead of submitting last night as planned, I tried to salvage it. An hour of editing photos this morning only to realize I missed the deadline by 1 hour. 🙄

Stunning!

One simple suggestion from a booth design standpoint: your logo is too low on the red backdrop. It’s blocked by the books and presumably people standing in front of it. Not sure how it’s constructed, but moving the logo to the top of the “wall” will help visibility.

Ever seen this? I picked it up last year at gencon but haven’t played it. I feel as though it may interest you 😂

I finished! Only had to repaint it twice 🤪 I learned that painting flat surfaces is very difficult, white paint is very difficult, and green static grass looks vibrantly neon when you photograph it. #mechamay #miniature #mecha #minipainting

I’ve never made a road before. It’s silly how happy this makes me! Also I stole kinetic sand from my children to make gravel, hence the blue. This is what I do when everyone else is sleeping 😂

It’s been really amazing watching you make this costume. So often cosplay is “fast fashion”, just glued together for a photo and thrown away before the next trend. I appreciate the knowledge, skill and time you’re putting into this project. Can’t wait to see it completed!
