I had a recent parcel left "behind the bin". It wasn't. After determined exchanges with Amazon, it emerged that the parcel had been placed *in* the bin. Collection was last week and by now it has surely been happily incinerated.

They're sending another and now I have a ridiculous story to tell.

I personally don't rate Mainoo as I don't think he's specialised enough. But, it seems silly to bin off a player who doesn't fit the system when the system may well change in 6 months. Imo publicly undermining players such as Mainoo, Garnacho, Hoijlund is short sighted.

According to arbitrary international boundaries, the west bit of Kazakhstan pokes in to Europe a bit so they get the choice of federation. Idk if they chose UEFA for footballing or political reasons though.

I feel like inflation is really catching up to the mid table clubs. They just can't find the players they need in the right price bracket. Getting stripped for parts by superclubs doesn't help either.

The problem with our thin squad is we're going to be coming up short all season. Every time we need just 5 minutes, just one last push, just this or that... we'll dig deep but there'll be nothing there. Always just out of reach. It's going to be a long season.

My take for the coming Prem season is that 'social mobility' among clubs is at an all time low. Everyone will finish exactly where they finished last season and the 3 promoted clubs will go down.
