"Howl" is for the werewolves howling. And "oh-Ween" is for the surprised blushing as you see the werewolf's big, thick, throbbing... 🐺🍆💦🍑

That's absolutely it, and it is bleak. I feel like I saw what it was like for one brief moment, but it's gone now and it affects me given how I relied on it to escape the drudgery of normies.

Oh, I get this and while that's all true art of any form shouldn't have to exist in isolation. It's all a different form of communication, if abstracted ideas but there is a whole joy to it, particularly with storytelling.

Be careful where you decide to wander this time of year~ You never know who or WHAT is observing you

Mhhm. Except, I'd need the rest of social media to do it, frankly. Imagine what it'd be like if it wasn't so much noise of everyone trying to shout louder and louder to be heard.

And it gets me thinking too, is everything online just saturated with so much noise? Is that why so many things I try to use are inactive and left unread, just pushed to the bottom under the most noisy notifications.

I turned reposts on and instantly see why. It's just a frenzied sea of other stuff being reposted. Of course it doesn't stand a chance. It feels pretty existential.

I've been struggling a bit in the last few months to feel like what really matters to me (my writing) has a place in the fandom. It's not just SoFurry still being down, but how this plathas changes two. I feel like my writing gets less engagement here than it did a year or two ago.

Of course it'd go to hell when the coyote, Tlaloc, shows up. Perhaps it's the coyote's charm, or perhaps Xolotl is looking for any excure for a clean break.

It's a continual lonely in a crowd thing.

Squarely in that "don't trust your feelings about yourself after 9pm" territory, except lately it's largely always feeling like after 9pm.

The other thing is that furry used to give me feelings of hope and belonging to counter the difficult thoughts and days. I don't think it does anymore.
