I don't know that that's a priority for me (being similarly too old). The pov character is young, but much of the narration has a wider perspective that I think can be read by an older man looking back, maybe?

Hmm, tricky. I think maybe Richard Armitage? He can do the hot headedness of Damen's pov, which is key, but also give good sneer 😄

The official audio book is not awful. It just doesn't sound like the artist is really enjoying it. There's the sense of someone doing a good, clean read in one take because he doesn't want to be late for his squash game later.
