I appreciate analysis like this but Trump's desire to annex Greenland is a favor to Putin to break up NATO, reality and other consequences be damned. This is merely treason, not some economic or security plan.

perhaps it might the order is for 2 from finland and build 7 in US to finish design, by 2028? questionable, will america have funding by then? US is now entering famine, this years crops will be a disaster worse than last years, 2027 take the last from the land, 2028 will end american farming.

If the USA and others continue to roll back any changes that can help with climate change?

Russia built an Arctic empire while America debated. China positioned for long-term influence while America neglected existing advantages. The icebreaker gap and capability collapse resulted from sustained institutional abandonment spanning administrations, Congress and Pentagon leadership.
