Lies include "emissions declined under the Liberals, flatlined under Labor" Katie Allen: Chisholm Forum.
Plus she said she was responsible for everything that mattered in climate action, getting to net zero by 2050. Were we to get the impression she had changed the LNP climate policy all by herself.

Katie Allen says AEMO's modelling sucks. But Frontier didn't have a two year whole of industry and stakeholder consultation process with ongoing methodology reviews.
They used our faithful friend GIGO to deliver - nuclear "cheaper" by shoving costs into the second half in a way smaller NEM! #auspol

Dutton is drunk on the idea of being #TemuTrump
Only 8 weeks to make sure the LNP (Gina) doesn't destroy the institutions that make up our society and way of life.
Look how well that is working out in the US!
Let's do everything we can to ask people to #VoteClimate #VoteKids #VoteCommunity #auspol

Electrify Everything Loan Scheme (EELS) Rewiring Australia is on a mission to electrify everything as it is the fastest way to address the climate crisis while significantly reducing household energy bills. We have just released a key part ...

Pink H2 - essential to our survival? Sounds so harmless.
If we could power every house with our own energy, store it, drive with it and run our efficient electric appliance perhaps we wouldn't need any pink electrons!
Let's go electric instead!

Dutton’s doozie: β€œyou can’t store renewable energy at the moment.” Our hapless opposition leader Peter Dutton recently told the 2GB radio audience You can’t store renewable energy at the moment. Really? I wonder if he might help me understand then, why our home ba…

As recently as Nov 2022, wannabe prime minister had apparently never heard home or industrial size batteries. Is this a person who can be taken at all seriously about power options?

I had a chance to chat to Michelle Grattan from

The mask is off: Dutton's Liberals are no party of liberalism In a decade, the Liberals have gone from supporting the rights of bigots to wanting to deport them. What happened? It's not just Dutton.

"The right has shifted almost monolithically away from values once prized by both liberals and conservatives, like respect for institutions, evidence-based policymaking and the rule of law." @keanebernard.bsky.social on the death of liberalism under Dutton www.crikey.com.au/2025/03/19/p...

Australians born overseas or having one parent born overseas is about 49% of the population.

I'm no mathematician but that's seems to be a fuckton of eligible voters to me.

With EVERYTHING on the line, Australians need the Greens, Independents and Labor to work together, like they've never done before. Starting now. πŸ™

Great to see @docsenvaus.bsky.social all fired up at the #ChisholmVotes forum.
Our doctors do not think #NuclearIsGoodForHumanity.
It's toxic: under 5's have more than double rate of leukaemia at under 5k from a well behaved nuclear reactor. There would be 18 years worth of extra emissions! #auspol

Energy plan? What energy plan? Peter Dutton wants to override scrutiny on major projects, reverse the support we need to build our future energy sector and waste billions of taxpayer dollars on his nuclear fantasy.

$5bn on helping households lower their energy bills and make and store their own energy sounds like a winner to me!
We'd need less powerlines, less grid, less gas.
Oh wait.. less gas? Mmm.

Anyone telling you that we need to drill for more gas to fix a domestic gas shortage is lying.

There's one way to ensure more gas and lower energy bills for Australians, and that's to cut exports.

The Oz has falsely claimed that there are plans to extend the life of Yallourn Power Station.

Clearly nuclear is not the way to go says Carina, but what about Labor's 28 extra coal & gas approvals.
Community batteries? Why not extend solar support to household batteries?
$50bn over 10 years to repower our homes is a lot less than $600bn for nuclear! renewaustraliaforall.org/repower-our-...

Removing the Fossil Fuel Industry's Influence on Politics and Parliament | Senator Larissa Waters Removing the fossil fuel industry's influence on politics and parliament is how we change the story and restore trust in government decisions.

We live in a Petrostate.
Dutton wants to DOGE Australia for parts (Gina ordered it).
ALP have approved 28 new oil and gas projects.
Time to vote for Greens and Independents.
Because our lives depend on it!

Approving Woodside's huge gas export plant for another 50 years would mean approving:

πŸ”΄ Higher energy bills for West Australians
πŸ”΄ 90 million tonnes of emissions per year (as much as 12 coal power stations)
πŸ”΄ Destroying ancient Murujuga rock art

And for what? They pay minimal royalties & no PRRT.

Geostability is going to hinge on European integration, and close coordination with allies of similar values and moral integrity in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Dutton wants the power to deport dual citizens, despite the High Court saying 'no'. He wants a doomed referendum.

Liberals once believed in courts untainted by politics. But Dutton embraced Trumpism, where courts are but a nuisance & cruelty the point.
