i never got the chance to just sit down and talk to him for a while - I was too young to think it mattered, and then only ever saw him at bigger events, then moved away. It all compiled together into one big "I'm sure I'll get a chance to eventually" that never came to fruition. that chance is gone.

I am struggling with death lately more than I used to. My elders are passing and I am too far away to attend services, or spend time with them before they're gone. it's painful in a way I have not experienced before.
