Hello Commissioner Greene and Mr. Potter, I saw the recommended layout for Lyndale Avenue. The "shared use" path feels like a prank. Who thought this would work? I live at xxxxxxxxxxx. I am a frequent transit rider and use Lyndale Avenue nearly every day as a pedestrian. I also bike for transportation in this area almost every day. This will not function as a bike route. Hardly anyone will use it. Bike and pedestrian traffic near this corridor is some of the heaviest in the city. Good sidewalks and bike infrastructure are essential. Hennepin County Public Works is delivering neither with this recommendation. There is plenty of public right of way on Lyndale Avenue. There is room to accommodate everyone's needs. Please re-think this design. It will not work as designed. -John Edwards

Don't let Hennepin County Public Works get away with pranking the Wedge and Whittier. Send them a sternly worded letter.
