Current mood:

After Columbine I thought we would move heaven and earth to prevent mass shootings.

We did nothing and now they are almost a daily occurrence.

Today we watched an ICE thug brutally murder an American citizen in cold blood. A young mother.

If we do nothing this too will become a daily occurrence.

I’m not even sure stupid is a strong enough word.

We’re at the point where I’m struggling to remember when the last year I was happy to remember was. Feels like a very long time ago.

Epstein survivors just dropped a powerful message for Congress, and it hits like a warning: no more waiting, the truth is coming, ready or not.

Any “deal” that ends with Dems just getting a pinky promise in return is a mistake.

The American people are suffering because Republicans refuse to stop healthcare costs from skyrocketing. An agreement that doesn’t fix that reality falls massively short.

Anyone else notice the symbolism of the fact that this is also where the First Lady’s office is? Almost like he’s continuing to erase women…..

This is the way we get their attention. Hit ‘em where it hurts!

He’s already said out loud how he feels. Why do we keep expecting something different? He’s never going to do anything that isn’t self-aggrandizing. That’s who he is.

It was never about logic. It’s about the almighty dollar and cruelty.

Until the importance of a government by the people and for the people actually exists and we do what it takes to have it, we live in a government by the individual and for the individual. Specifically one individual. Somehow I don’t really believe that is what the founding fathers had in mind.
