I hear you Mallory. I am furious with the Democrats and as of today I am a registered Independent. I’ve lost all trust in the party as it stands. You are so right, keep going, we need more people like you.

After 48 years I have changed my party affiliation from Democrat to Independent tonight. I’m not even convinced that these retiring and newly (re)elected Senators who voted with the Republicans aren’t just a way to cave AND to protect vulnerable Senators. I no longer trust the party. Sad day.

Capitulating and getting nothing in return is not “working together”. She has thrown us under the bus.
