Procedural support beams for the bridge. Again funny how there any thing from gothic, rococo, roman, elven to timur architecture in a single arc.

Made a bunch of geomtry nodes for this, a wrapper to wrap these shapes around cruves, spacing them perfectly etc.

Put together a really minimal sim rig in Geometry Nodes just now, did some tracing of a noise field, and colored the results based on speed at time of capture. I optimized the tracer by periodically resampling previous points using a Catmull-Rom spline this time.

The best thing about continuing to build Trek ships is since its all procedurally moidelled in Houdini, Im slowly building up a great toolset to get them done fairly fast :)

I made a directional noise type I call Phacelle Noise which is pretty fast!
