Michael graduated from high school only eight days earlier, and he was about to begin a training program at a nearby technical school. His future was stolen from him by a horrific act of police violence.

Eleven years ago today, a police officer approached Michael Brown Jr., a Black teenager, while he was walking down the street with a friend in Ferguson, Missouri. In just 90 seconds, the officer shot Michael at least six times, killing him.
