Most Americans support high safety standards to be able to carry a concealed, loaded gun in public. Yet Congressional Republicans are pushing to put more guns in more places instead of protecting us from gun violence.

Demand that your lawmakers reject this extremist bill: Text GUT to 644-33.

Nothing is killing children in America more than guns. This is a preventable crisis that our lawmakers know how to stop, but lack the courage to act. Our hearts break for these children and their loved ones. We do not have to live like this. Our kids should not be dying like this.

Our generation has been through so many active shooter drills and swatting incidents that young people weren't even phased when evacuating the mass shooting in Grand Blanc, Michigan.

We don't have to live like this. Our lawmakers need to put our safety ahead of the gun lobby.

Grand Blanc, Michigan, is now one of the thousands of communities across America forever changed by a horrific act of mass gun violence. No other country is forced to live and die like this. We don't have to accept daily deadly shootings as normal. #EndGunViolence buff.ly/HIobfbT

Hateful rhetoric like this only stokes the flames of violent transphobia, and it often turns lethal. LGBTQ+ people are already disproportionately impacted by gun violence. They deserve safety, autonomy, freedom, and joy. We'll keep working with our trans siblings to #DisarmHate and #EndGunViolence.

This is just the Trump Administration's latest attempt to demonize the trans community and distract from the real crisis that takes thousands of American lives a year: Gun violence.

Gun violence is gun violence—no matter who pulls the trigger. It’s past time for Congress to take action and pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, a critical step forward in stopping police brutality and gun violence. Urge your lawmakers to do just that by adding your name: buff.ly/eTk2SD4
