I’m thoroughly enjoying it!

Someone I love very much has been diagnosed with Stage 4 renal cancer. I need a success story or two or ten as we process this info and move forward with a treatment plan. I need a little bit of hope right now.

What it looks like to have compassionate leadership who aren’t desensitized to violence against children. 🧡

Also, sometimes I have to talk about nonsensical, meaningless things to balance the heavier things that weigh on my mind.

I think I have to accept the fact I’m never gonna be a skin care routine kinda girlie. I’m just way too lazy.

I’m so sad. He’s my age, and far too young. 😔 I was a Joey/Pacey OTP before I ever knew that was thing, but I always liked James Van Der Beek. Rest easy sir.

People with actual, real, consistent skin care routines: How do you do it? And how do you avoid product pilling? I’m trying so hard to develop one, but no matter what I do, or what products I use, I end up with product pilling. It’s so annoying.

I hope to never experience anything like it again however; there was little information shared by the RCMP until after the lockdown was lifted, and not knowing what was going on was scary.

The lockdown was lifted after about 20min, and thankfully it was truly nothing serious. Someone reported hearing what sounded like shots being fired; turned out it was some construction noises. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m very proud of my staff team; they kept themselves and the children calm, busy, and occupied. I went and locked all the doors, and shut curtains etc.

I live in Canada; these are not regular occurrences for us. In fact, I’ve worked there for 27 years, and this is the first one we’ve ever experienced.

We had a lockdown at work today. I work in child care, in a building that operates two programs - one infant toddler program with 12 children, and one preschool age program with 25 children. It was terrifying.

Just woke up from a dream about thrifting. Tiger was this amazing store wig multiple rooms and floors. So many interesting items! The weird thing is, I don’t really thrift in real life, lol. Maybe it’s a sign I should start. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Most of the America political accounts I’m following are glitching (freezing, not playing past a certain point) but the Canadian creators seem to be fine still. So far. Any accounts not politically inclined seem to be fine regardless of location.
