This is one explanation for no one involved answering the question: "How exactly is AI going to make money?" Because the answer is "By coming up with new ways to rip you off."

The large green arrow-shaped leaves of a California beeplant stand out in a sea of cut-leaf geranium's small green snowflake-like leaves. An old wood fence disintegrates in the background. Fallen magnolia petals litter the ground.

The California Figwort Beeplant (Scrophularia californica) I planted near a magnolia in Fall '25 has tripled in size among the cut-leaf geranium and other European invasives. 🌱 #californianativeplants #nativeplants

I think back to discovering self-insert Real Person fanfiction in 2003 and in hindsight it was rather wholesome.

When I was born there were Americans still alive who had been enslaved. I'm only in my 60s.

Yes it’s Valentine’s Day. But it’s also the chosen birthday of Frederick Douglass who was born in 1818 on a plantation in Talbot County, Maryland. He escaped from slavery & rose to become the most eloquent and forceful voice for the abolition of slavery & for Black voting rights in the U.S.

Nine square botanical photographs arranged in a grid, each showing a naturally heart-shaped form. A cyclamen leaf with pale green marbling; a pink bleeding heart flower; clusters of tiny white flowers; a snowdrop; curled fern fronds; shepherd’s purse seed pods; a delicate umbel; blue forget-me-nots forming a heart shape; and a pair of swelling buds. Soft green backgrounds throughout.

Hearts appear throughout the natural world, in leaves, flowers, seed pods and unfolding fronds. A small gathering of botanical hearts for St. Valentine’s Day. #ValentinesDay

Hey I'm back! As some of you know, I experienced some scary harassment here last month when a user threatened me and the sanctuary I work for and I was shocked when they received only a 3-day suspension for that. I have now been assured that the offending account is permanently suspended, and

This is a weird pocket of land between the 80 bus loop freeway and Alhambra, north of E St. Visually it will not affect the neighborhood any more than the derelict warehouses there now. Alhambra and C St. can easily handle the increased traffic.

Possibly a magazine cover or catalog cover featuring a photo of a woman in a sporty, short green outfit preparing to mount a front-loader cargo bike with a massive wicker basket filled with flowers. She's on a muddy beach.

Some info found on the photo says it's from 1974.

Why Transgender People Are Not Feeling Gavin Newsom We have seen this song and dance before.

There seems to be a lot of discussion about Gavin Newsom today.

I wanted to re-share this piece that I wrote, because I have a lot of center-to-left Dems that follow me that want to understand.

There are very good reasons transgender people do not like Gavin Newsom.
