Group Ability: KITTY KAY CLUB Can't be attacked by a KKC member.

Cupcake, a group card, is a member of the Kitty Kat Club, a gang of 7 cats who are happy to help you out, but they're not gonna attack each other.

Is this group ability useful? Probably not. It's just cats being cats and you'll have to deal with it. (They're also cute and cuddly, which is nice.)

Special Ability: SPRINKLY WINKLY When this card is attacked, draw a card.

CHERRY ON TOP is not the only way Cupcake draws you an extra card. She also has the defensive ability SPRINKLY WINKLY that draws a card every time Cupcake is attacked.

Opponents may steer clear of attacking her to avoid gifting you a card.

Pro tip: attack your Cupcake with one of your healers.

At 7 HP, Cupcake is fairly big (for a kitten).

She attacks aggressively to reliably deal lots of damage, and when rolling a 6️⃣ you get a CHERRY ON TOP, a freshly drawn card you can place right away.

A potent early game accelerant that launches you ahead of your opponent with card advantage.

So far, Apebeard looks pretty decent, but special ability SHAVING CREAM is what makes him shine.✨

Cards that haven't attacked yet can't attack Apebeard which can be problematic.

When it's your only card in play (the Foam Alone gambit), enemy cards may have to attack each other before Apebeard.

One thing I remember from JK is the best strat for the vine sections was to recklessly speed thru the vines and never hang on long enough to swing back to the center.

Obviously that’s how Tarzan would have to do it
