A photo montage of my left & right hands holding up some blu ray & dvd boxed sets against a plain white background.

In my left hand is "The Doug McClure Fantasy Adventure Triple Bill" DVD boxed set, comprising "The Land that Time Forgot", "Warlords of Atlantis" and "At the Earth's Core", as well as a single blu ray copy of "The People that Time Forgot".

In my right hand is a copy of Imprint Films' "Tales of Adventure: Collection 9" blu ray boxed set containing all four aforementioned films in a shiny laminated-cardboard presentation box.

This headline confused me for at least 30 seconds; I was like, "Uh, the Queen is also dead??" 🀨

Is there any evidence of The One Ring making anyone other than a Hobbit invisible?

Did it maybe only make *Hobbits* invisible because furtiveness & concealment are part of their natural magic?

Perhaps it would've given a Human super-strength, like Gummiberry Juiceβ„’. πŸ€”

It might be called "Thuvia, Maid of Mars", but I'm not sure that's the actual focus of the painting. πŸ˜„

Kill All Wizards SWORDS, SORCERY, AND A SPOT OF TEAKill All Wizards is a blood-soaked romp through high societyβ€”picture Conan the Barbarian caught up in a comedy of manners...

This looks good fun. Out next summer, 144 pages. Added it to my wishlist.

I did once have the idea of publishing an edition of Dracula printed using ink that was only visible under a UV blacklight, to make it unreadable to vampires...

For a movie that’s 35 years old, Dick Tracy’s make up & prosthetic artists did a fantastic job on the outlandish Dick Tracy villains that still holds up.

Can't remember the name, but I had a big guide to keeping various pets, which I credit with saving the life of my goldfish after I spotted it had a fungal infection and following the medicinal instructions.

It was an American book, and had a section on keeping an Ocelot.

I have only read the first book which I really enjoyed, but I finished it thinking "There's just no way that this is the evolved natural order of this world", so I'm glad to see a hint that there is more going on than meets the eyeβ„’.

Just waiting for book 2 to hit paperback!

I saw the stage musical of Moulin Rouge for the first time last week, and the mashup of Gnarls Barkley's Crazy and Rolling in the Deep by Adele had me momentarily confused as to which lyrics belonged to which song, they fit so well together. 😊

Love a nice B5 reference, but I have to point out that there's no record that Sheridan took part in the Battle of the Line. That was Jeffrey Sinclair. πŸ˜‰

Will ponder the actual question. πŸ€”

I think a lot of British people are possibly missing how batshit crazy the current news cycle from America is by not realising that Tylenol is just the American name for paracetamol.

I'm not saying I want the objects to resist being sorted, or have to build pyramids out of marbles or anything.

Satisfying low-difficulty one-directional progress is the key.

We actually had a stocktake shortly after everyone stopped masking, and there was an entire wire-cage full of assorted cloth facemasks with different product codes that needed sorting and bundling together and it was the best afternoon of my working life.

Someone pointed out (in the comments on a YouTube video) that a 3-legged object is more stable than a 4-legged object, because 4 legs will wobble if they are of uneven length but 3 legs will not, and for some reason this knowledge is messing with my head.
