found out it's because I had enabled IDEEnableNewPackagePIFBuilder.

if you have that enabled and add `connect-swift` or `firebase-ios-sdk` as a dependency to your macos app xcode 26 will crash when resolving packages. shared in a feedback with apple on FB20555403.

Swift developers: Does anyone else has xcode 26 consistently crashing when resolving dependencies on larger projects?
