Oh. Hello period. I see we're back again. And being weirdly irregular again.

I need to just accept that finding my glasses is a lost cause at this point. I haven't found them in two years. It's not going to happen.

I need a new scrip anyway, probably.

So I guess the big goal for next month is finding a new eye doctor and getting a scrip and glasses. Bleh.

People did warn me when I was younger to pursue high-paying fields, and I always shrugged them off. I thought, “I’m not a materialistic person, I don’t want to live in luxury—I’ll be fine making a modest salary. Money’s not important to me.”

Turns out you need a shitload of money just to be broke.

Losing neonate fosters hits hard. I've shed a lot of tears over kittens that didn't make it (despite vet help and lots of effort) so far this year.

But I also don't think I could ever do what you do every day! It would break me.

To be fair, though, I'm in a transition period with my fur kids. My old lady cat is 15 at the end of October, with the OG baby boy turning 12 a few days later. Then original middle child turns 13 in mid-November.

If they all have at least five more years on this earth I will be very blessed.

The humans that initially were going to take these ladies back after I raised them are unable to do so.

They have asked me to keep them and are paying for spays, chips, etc. They just want to visit them sometimes to play with and love on them.
