I never imagined that the clay figures still existed.

There's like 5 RPGs for the Nintendo 64, but one of few we were lucky to get was an[other] amazing Ogre Battle entry.⚔️ #OgreBattle 64 offers deep tactical gameplay and a strong story that understands class politics. A rare game, in and out.

Huge thumbs up from me! I'm excited for this game!

It's a really solid third-party #Zelda style game. I think it's plays very well; it's very fun.

My only criticism is that the demo was missing a unique feature/item that made it stand out.

Admittedly, my gut reaction was "this is petty," because I don't care about 3 laps and I think the in-between roadways are fun.

However, after thinking about it for more than 5 seconds, I realized that this might be why I thought standard online matches were mega boring & ran back to Knockout Tour.

Yes.

Like it or not, Ocarina of Time is old. It may be the Greatest Video Game of all Time, but the modern audience for the game is limited.

It has a beautiful story to tell. Retell the story in a way that will resonate more with a new generation.

3. New dungeons, but keep them reminiscent of the originals.

4. I don't mind if the dungeons can be done in any order (with Young Link first and Adult Link second). Just make sure it still feels right.

A few notes:
1. I want the story to remain the same. I'm okay with some lore expansion, but no twists that change the overall plot or themes.

2. I want the freedom of movement (e.g. climbing) and inventory from Breath of the Wild, but it needs to keep the key items from Ocarina of Time.

A few years ago, I would have said I just wanted Ocarina of Time 3D fixed up and released as Ocarina of Time HD.

Now, I'm on board with a full remake. I want to see the Hyrule of Ocarina of Time scaled up and dropped in the Breath of the Wild physics engine. 🧵

It’s one of Nintendo’s longest running easter eggs dating back to Mario Paint in ‘92.

Nintendo Composer Kazumi Totaka famously includes it in his games.

He still works at Nintendo and is Yoshi’s voice actor!
