04.02.2026 00:50 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Damn, based John Denver
03.02.2026 22:53 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The problem is how many of you think that starting line is actually a finish line.
03.02.2026 18:57 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Me, bundled up in a coat under a blanket with the fireplace going:
โWhy canโt I get warm?โ
The floor fan sitting a foot in front of my chair blowing at full blast:

~~(~)~
Seriously, how can we not already be rid of this piece of unrepentant garbage?
02.02.2026 00:35 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0One of the coolest things (to me, at least) about writing with a creative parter is doubling the amount of media that can serve as inspiration for your own story. @rwmeadors.bsky.social shares more about how he and @marbach.bsky.social get inspiration for their shared urban fantasy universe:
01.02.2026 14:53 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hey Chris. Chris. Uhโฆquick question, Chris. Could you please just shut the goddamned โagencyโ down? Could you just deny them a single penny in the bill? Please? Would it be possible to actually stand for something worthwhile?
30.01.2026 20:34 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I want to laugh at this, but Iโm convinced theyโll fill that job posting with someone almost immediately who does in fact meet that criteria
30.01.2026 20:22 โ ๐ 19 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0RIP to Catherine OโHara, my original movie mom. You sure have meant a lot to me over the years.
30.01.2026 18:36 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0And the kid in the movie reminded me a little of me. But he had been separated from his mom in the movie, and her presence in the movie was all about trying to get back to him. I donโt think 6 year old Jason understood the psychology involved in that, but 41 year old Jason does.
30.01.2026 18:36 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The first movie I ever saw in theaters, when I was six years old, was Home Alone. My aunt and my grandma took me, and it remains one of my best childhood memories. I do remember it being odd (again, 6 years old) to do something without my parents or my sisters, though.
30.01.2026 18:36 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0We did not properly punish the confederates. We did not properly punish the insurrectionists on January 6th. We have to punish ICE.
They canโt be allowed to slink back into their communities quietly. Expose them. Arrest them. Convict them. Imprison them.
Five jobs Iโve had:

-Pro Touring Musician
-Project Coordinator (Construction)

In our heads while weโre writing, Paulo is a slightly younger John Leguizamo type, and Jenny we envision as Taylor Swift. Lol
29.01.2026 21:23 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0We actually cast all our roles as we write them. Weโve found that since weโre a full time writing duo, it helps us synchronize a vision for each character (their voicing, mannerisms, etc) if we both kind of have the same vision for who they are, and casting helps with that synchronization. ๐
29.01.2026 21:23 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Our preceding novels (Projekt, God, Complex, and The Alluvion) each follow 3-4 main pov characters in a rotation. One thing @rwmeadors.bsky.social and I are hyper focused on is creating vivid, deep characters that feel like real humans, so that passion lends itself well to multiple POV stories lol
29.01.2026 09:30 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0In this one, we tried a slightly different approach: writing 3 different short-but-connecting novellas, and Paulo is the main character in the first of the 3 stories. So there will be two more perspectives in the subsequent novellas, and the three novellas together will tell one overarching story.
29.01.2026 09:30 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Well, those are great questions. The Way Of Streams is actually the third of our books that Jenny and Paulo appear in, though theyโre not main characters in the previous two books.
29.01.2026 09:30 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0This absolutely COOKS
29.01.2026 05:02 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This is less than useless, this is actively harmful. The *democrats and their proposals here* are actively harmful, in addition to the obvious problem republicans are posing. It would be better if they did NOTHING than doing THIS. Just a historic failure across the board.
28.01.2026 22:22 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Really proud of @rwmeadors.bsky.social and his answers in this interview. Looking forward to hopefully sitting down myself with Hope in the coming weeks as we approach the release of The Major Arcana!
28.01.2026 19:08 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I did actually post a little sneak peak into The Way Of Streams. Itโs the furthest away in terms of release, but if you were interested in a sneak peak, here you go! ๐

Iโm really so excited about all of these, to be honest. Each one has different challenges that tickle a different itch, and theyโre each big, sweeping stories with multiple POV characters. God, Complex is perhaps the most chaotic, insane story Iโve ever seen, and making it work is a blast, lol.
28.01.2026 19:03 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yahya and Sir Ben are absolutely burning the screen down. #Wonderman
28.01.2026 04:41 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yโall, I know, I know, marvel, Disney, etc. But #Wonderman absolutely fcks. Show is pure diesel. You donโt even have to like superhero sht to like it. If youโve ever just been a big fan of acting, or the art of *making* films and shows, go watch Wonderman. Truly special stuff.
28.01.2026 04:41 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0A decent starting point
28.01.2026 03:47 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yeah, probably best to be blocked by clowns like this, to be honest. Thanks for saving me the trouble.
27.01.2026 23:15 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Itโs bullying to expect us all to row together to hold incompetent, useless democrats to a reasonable standard? Come on. We have GOT to do better than this.
27.01.2026 22:58 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Weโre gonna win.
