Sorry, but it's stretching it a bit to suggest bad-enough and fartrage have any leadership qualities that merit calling them "leaders".
I always had the impression that Empathy, Respect and Integrity were somewhat essential in a real leader.

Rather socialist golden age Sci Fi lover, chemist (not a pharmacist), Derby County fan, remainer and gardener. Yes, I do my own research and I do know what the heck I'm talking about.

Or... make the platform owners legally & financially responsible for all the content posted.
They will soon find ways to moderate & control what is posted when THEY face claims for damages & fines.
At the moment they simply don't care - they make more income that way.
My old prof was involved in climate change research, in the late 70's.
He once said to us "We have no idea what will happen for certain. I am so sorry for you all, because you will live through the biggest experiment in history & discover the answer. It probably won't be good."
Monty Python sketch about a man with a tape recorder up his nose.
Sorry, the French national anthem was ruined for me forever after watching this in the late 60's...
15.02.2026 16:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We have an MG4 - superb little car. A few irritating software issues day 1, but it's settled down now. Certainly good value for money.
(I had a Hyundai plug-in hybrid and despite it being a bit of pain with an on-going 12V battery issue, I enjoyed owning it.)
It's about time we started making the political party, (which ever it is), pay for the re-election process if a councillor decides to quit after a few weeks.
This resignation and re-run of the election will cost in the region of Β£25k - the party should carry this cost not the local taxpayer.
The vital point is that is not just about the felon in charge now. Europe must focus on getting "security independence".
We can't allow the US to dominate again as it has recently - because, like it or not, another crook WILL rise to the top again & think they have the right to rule us.
"We belong together"
AKA
"Please buy our weapons and pay us for security. Don't go off and develop your own and have your own opinions. If you do that, you won't have to do whatever we want and pay whatever we ask, that's not good for us."
Larry the Chief Mouser for No 10 Downing Street.
Everyone knows he is in charge!

Black cats are seen as good luck in the UK and Ireland.
(The Chief Mouser for HM Treasury, Gladstone, who retired in 2014, was black and, one must admit, quite stylish!)
I know HOW to print, it's just - where is the printer?
(Once ended up printing a report to a printer in the Netherlands HQ by accident when I was in the UK office.)
...so far.

12.02.2026 13:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0 It's an interesting tactic as it forces the right to defend Brexit, which most of the public are now against.
Bring in those who'd only vote Labour to get back to the EU, add in the probable upturn in the economy before the GE and get talking about "immigration control via the EU".
Most of what they say is opinion, not news and very clearly not fact.
Bonafide journalists are becoming a threatened species in the media.

(Surely no surprise to anyone who remembers the Brexit propaganda).
Still, at least the Reform politicians get a nice payday and benefits - at your expense.
Often true.
May I also add...
...and may never have existed in the first place.
Have similar, I do far more "working time" when I work from home than when I use the local office.
As my old boss used to say, "the first day they start forcing us to do 9 to 5 in the office, is the first day they start losing money".
Anyway how the "F" would fartrage know about work anyway.
"T'owd lad" wanted to visit Scotland - his family roots. So we did a trip as a family.
We took him up Ben Nevis where we got him coffee. 10 mins later he was chatting with an old Scottish guy - "Used t' work wi his dad in't pit".
Half way up a mountain, 400miles from home!
In her position you are a role model to others hoping to compete in a sport.
That her team allowed her to compete when seriously injured and at significant risk of further injury is sending the wrong message.
Well done Wales.

Her choice, maybe - but her team bear responsibly for allowing her to do it. Lord knows what long term damage she could have caused by doing this.
More complex still. Conduction from the heat source to the radiator is not simple & adds weight, chillers are less effective - poor condensation in micro-gravity, heat can be gained as well as lost, ....
Etc, Etc...
But I guess his Ai will work it outπ.
Cost to send ca. 1kg to orbit - over $2k.
Complex cooling & power generation/back up = no savings in kit.
Maintenance/Repairs? Difficult = more cost
Harsh environment/transport = more cost
It's unlikely it will be cost effective or be used at scale.
It's Musk hiding his failures/"issues".
Not everyone, just those with big gobs and small brains - they don't make up a majority, believe me.
I can still hope.
Make this happen, please!
