Ofsted seeks to address schools’ fears about new inspections Watchdog will host a series of webinars on new-style inspections after announcing that schools will only get half a term’s notice on its finalised plans

The idea that a completely new approach to inspection can be rolled out next term when it hasn’t even been finalised yet, is for the birds.

Ofsted still hasn’t managed to publish the response to its own consultation and this is very much a case of putting the cart before the horse.

An earlier presentation by Ofsted stated: “We want report cards to provide more nuance by inspecting each of the proposed evaluation areas against the proposed evaluation scale so that leaders and parents can understand the areas of strength and areas of development in the provision.”

I am a little bored with the 'What About Brexit?' bombardment tbh but you really can't talk about the UK's "deep economic scars" without bloody mentioning it. Unless you're the BBC, apparently. Its negative impact is not an opinion, it's counting.

YouGov find just 30% of people think we were right to leave the EU. The lowest number yet.

Just 10% of 18-24 year olds think it was the right decision.
