Mine still worked when I boxed it away, I'm not sure I've a TV or monitor I could even connect it to now anyway 🤷‍♂️

A Praktica BMS manual 35mm SLR camera with the 50mm f/1.8 lens, side lit in blue.

I had some East German rough turn up today in the form of a Praktica BMS.

It came in a camera bag with a 90's Sigma 70-210mm zoom that's jammed solid and all the soft touch rubber has turned to goop and a flash gun for £12 from a charity seller, camera and lens seem remarkably good.

A muddy path leads between two hedgerows with patches of yellow leaves on the ground.

I also quite like this one from this morning, it's a Bridleway that runs between a couple of hedgerows and given this area's history possibly to a coal mine or clay pit.

I thought the Fletchers Performing Arts Theatre in Nottingham would be worth a return visit and with the low winter sun it did not disappoint.

The Primark store in Belfast, it was gutted in a fire in 2018 and reopened in 2022 after an extensive rebuilding program.

The extended roof line of a factory looks like a giant rusty corrugated shed has been put on top of it. B&W and shot on Kentmere 200 35mm film.

Happily surprised how this turned out, the B&W film makes the rust on the corrugated sheets standout. I'm also getting a bit of a John Smith's - The Black Tower vibe from it but that might be more in my head.

Here's a few photos from this morning's wander from Fradley Junction to Alrewas (Quarter Mile Bridge) and back. Finished off a roll of B&W in the Pentax then switched to my new OM-5(ii) which has been a joy to use. These are all from the OM-5, was a bit of a grey sky day.

A red post box on a grey pole, focus is slightly out but the background shows the Helios swirl.

I thought I'd give the Helios 44-2 a test in the bright sunlight after I dismantled it and cleaned up the fungus and oil earlier this week. Even after cleaning it looked pretty grotty but surprisingly it handled bight highlights and the sun quite well 😀

Lovely photos, are you shooting this at 200 or nearer 100 ISO? I've a 35mm roll of this to play with but didn't get great results with the original version which I feel I under exposed.

An empty building on the edge of the Broadmash redevelopment in Nottingham, the shop in the ground floor is boarded up, a couple walk past on the pristine new walkway. The photo is black and white.

It's a grey and "meh" day so dug this out of my unprocessed raw files.

I remember visiting a Japanese (iirc) supermarket on the ground floor of this building back in the 90's, now it's sitting empty awaiting the Broadmarsh redevelopment.
