On this day we saw two of these planes heading toward the fire, then back toward the Willamette River to reload. After three or so passes, the fire was contained. The plane in the photo is white with red stripes. Blue sky and wispy clouds in the background.

Harbor at Depoe Bay, Oregon. It is considered the world's smallest natural navigable harbor. The smooth, calm water here gave way to much rougher conditions once we crossed the bar.
