I’d even recommend going to see this for folks not familiar with the series. It’s a great one to see on a big screen with a crowd!

It’s been said a lot, but it really is insane that they managed to get approval for everything in it, both the stunts and the copyright stuff.

Picked up the 4k of Lifeline (1997) on eBay for real cheap. Went into it with very low expectations, and it rocked my shit. The last 40 minutes are just one giant firefight, and it rules!

Planning on watching Backdraft this weekend to see how it stacks up.

Exact same arch for me. It’s way more fun to say than “hello” or whatever.

He had three little lines of raised hair on his head when he was a baby (11 years ago!), and that was the first thing that came to mind. They went away, but the name has served him well.

The only Far Cry game I’ve ever finished was 5, and I really clicked with it for some reason. Not sure how it’s aged though. Didn’t care at all for the DLC, and FC6 didn’t do it for me either. I need to give the older games a fair shake one day!

My vote is for West of Loathing, specifically if you just want something lighthearted and funny, but also because I haven’t played any of the others.

I did buy Ghost Trick, so hoping to get to that soon myself!

LinkedIn was really useful for me when looking for a job after school, ~4 years ago. I filtered on stuff posted in the last two weeks, and then applied for the positions on the actual company website. It helped me get a decent number of interviews.

I didn’t find much use for it outside of that.

Just realized I wrote Heist twice. SteamWorld Quest is also $0.99. Haven’t played that one, but I’m sure it’s worth that.

I just got an iPad too (mainly for comics) last week. Humble Bundle has an image comics bundle up for $18 for 23 more hours that is a steal too. Saga alone is worth that.

Grindstone, Sneaky Sasquatch, Balatro, Vampire Survivors, Easy Come Easy Golf, What the Golf, and finity.

SteamWorld Heist and SteamWorld Heist aren’t on Apple Arcade, but are currently on sale for $0.99.

It’s that magic time of the year again where I get to revisit this Christmas classic.

I haven’t seen it since I was like 10, but I’m going to go ahead and assume there’s a strong possibility that it doesn’t hold up. Kazaam probably does though. It has to!

I loved this movie when I was a kid. Anything with Shaq in it ruled.

Not familiar with your specific monitor, but you’ll want to enable HGIG for the consoles and recalibrate HDR if you haven’t already. The switch 2 HDR is pretty broken without it.

It was only like four button presses to get there haha… Also turned off motion blur and chromatic aberration in the in-game settings too. I don’t know what those are supposed to do? They seem to make it look worse.

Went performance mode/60 fps anyways cause those parry windows are tiny!

The story in Yotei is fine, and the dialogue is a bit too corny for my taste at times, but I really like the gameplay. Just super fun clearing out enemy camps.

I’m gonna go back to SM2, but I probably just need a break from the big Sony open world formula. Liked the first two quite a bit.

My only real complaint with Clair Obscur so far is that it doesn’t have HDR, and the PS5 doesn’t automatically detect this, so it looks pretty washed out until you turn it fully off on the console settings.

I beat Ghost of Yotei this week, and I liked it a bunch. Tried playing Horizon Forbidden West and Spider-Man 2, but bounced off both after an hour. Didn’t vibe with either of them.

Decided to hop on the hype train with Clair Obscur yesterday though, and that seems like a winner so far!

I just started playing it today, and six hours basically just melted away.

The cover art on the Vinegar Syndrome release is great too.
