Some bad personal news: I was laid off this week along with several colleagues.

My background is in election/political law, democracy, and political engagement.

Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.

Oh we will not forget who bent the knee.

I can’t believe they called prop 50 the moment polls closed. That tells you something. Most of these races were called within 45 minutes. It’s a BLOWOUT, y’all. THAT is what we call a MANDATE.

They tried to rig the maps. California voters said not so fast.

With the passage of Prop 50, the Golden State just proved you should never poke the bear. When democracy’s on the line, Californians fight back and win. 🐻💪

One of the tropes that is constantly trotted out about Mamdani is the he has never managed more than five people, so how can he handle the NYC government. Smart people KNOW that the principal does not do everything. Smart people HIRE great people to do the things at which they excel.
