March was a good month for reading. I would particularly recommend The Warm Hands of Ghosts by Katherine Arden and Sorrow Spring by @oliviaisaachenry.bsky.social

Both have interesting heroines and folklorey charm, set in fascinating but very different historical settings.

Witness for the Prosecution, both the black and white 1957 film and the 2018 Sarah Phelps TV adaptation. Not a classic but my second book, The Verdict, features a trial.
