Most users don’t know how to model, and rely on asset creators. Unfortunately quality between different creators is mixed at best.

Consumers will buy what represents themselves regardless if it is well made or not.

Which snowballs the problem, and why we need to set community standards.

There needs to be better clarity in what people buy off avatar marketplaces. We need Nutrition Facts-like labels for avatars.
I hate seeing cute outfits, and they are walking zipbombs.

I always do my best to make stuff optimized, but Yargon also makes a fair point. Like with my robot, I've made it me with my many edits but it still is medium.

However my Uruki, I am so disheartened to make any effort in optimizing certain things due to how it starts "VP"

- I appreciate the additional user tools we have been given to moderate how we play the game, and making the user experience better for the players, but maybe I'm asking for a little bit too much control.

I already have pretty strict download/uncom. size limits, and global avatars max shown. So in terms of performance, it wouldn't play much of a factor. -

While I'm not directly asking for an increase in poly count, I'd like a way to have that be an exceptionable performance marking within reason. Something like the download size limit, but in increments of 5k. -

Guide them to dial in their safety settings and reduce max download/compressed size. Typically turning off lights for anyone besides friends, and reducing down/comp to 100mb/200mb.
Find your own personal spaces with positive people with shared interests, look to Group publics, not regular publics.

I like the current limitations with avatars, but is there a technical reason for the 70k poly limit?
I’ve made many avis that would be either med or poor, if the poly cap was slightly higher. Most of my projects are kept below 100k, but I’m lobbed in with e-boy spec avis and that doesnt feel fair :(
